Well we made it through hurricane Sandy just fine. Really have had much worse storms in the past. Had rain and wind but not much else, only lost power for about 30 mins last night but did lose Internet throughout the evening till this morning. Mike and the kids are still at home (lucky ducks) as I sit here at work :) I only got a half day off whereas they've all had 2 days, darn them lol.
Didn't even drip a bit in Nick's room, not sure what that's all about. Guess it was the fact I covered everything in plastic lol. Seems to work that way, when you prepare all is well and when you don't watch out lol.
Anyway, things are fine. Should make it to the gym in the morning. Food has been pretty good the past few days. Trying a few new things and so far so good. Maybe I'm having some break through, sure hoping I am. Will talk more about it all soon.
Marie has basketball tonight and I plan on going to look for some new shoes. Don't really have any decent winter shoes and it's COLD today, was 40 this morning and my feet got wet so I've had cold wet feet all day, yuck.

I wear lined rain boats or lined snow boats in transit and then put on shoes when I get there. You could leave shoes at work.

Glad to hear that you are doing well. We were watching the news this morning and some of the damage is astonishing. Hurray for no leaks! :)
Thanks for the update, we really do feel helpless watching this horrible storm unfold. I also can't believe how many fake pictures and stories are buzzing around the Internet.

We were without electric and internet for over 2 days, finally got it back this morning, thought of you during the storm, so I'm glad to hear you are doing okay.
